Biotech Santé Bretagne, a partner in the Biochains project, took part in the first Algae Fair in Rennes (Brittany region, France) on 23 and 24 November 2025.
The event was a great success (1,000 visitors), highlighting the wealth of benefits offered by algae and the diversity of their uses (food, health and nutrition, cosmetics, materials, etc.).
It brought together both the general public and industry professionals: researchers, producers, artisans, manufacturers, and more.
As a partner at the event, Biotech Santé Bretagne contributed to discussions and the sharing of knowledge regarding this strategic sector for the region. Biotech Sante Bretagne also had a stand at the event and additionally, our Biomass Valorisation Project Manager, Stéphane Tarrade, delivered a presentation on the Biochains Atlantic project, outlining its objectives and the tangible benefits it offers to stakeholders in the algae sector.
It was a great opportunity to raise the visibility of the Interreg Atlantic project – Biochains Atlantic.
