Optimizing the Algal Biomass
Value Chains for Sustainable
Economic Growth in the Atlantic Area

About BIOCHAINS Atlantic

BIOCHAINS Atlantic aims to promote the efficient and sustainable use of micro- and macroalgae in the Atlantic Area by organizing and optimizing algal biomass value chains.

The project addresses key challenges through stakeholder mapping and cooperation, value chain analysis, and the development of innovative models supported by intelligent digital tools, as well as market-oriented prototypes for the food and cosmetics sectors.

By integrating sustainable practices, innovative technologies and stakeholder knowledge across Spain, Portugal, France and Ireland, BIOCHAINS Atlantic supports environmental sustainability and economic growth in the algae-based biomass industry.
